Lindsey Baden, MD

Dr. Baden is Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, vice president for Clinical Research and Director of the Center for Clinical Investigation at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) and Director of Infectious Diseases at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI). Dr. Baden’s research interests focus on early stage vaccine development and the development of novel diagnostics and therapeutics for fungal and viral diseases that affect transplant and cancer patients disproportionately. He is co-PI of the mRNA-1273 Phase 3 trial (Moderna/NIAID) which established the efficacy of one of the major vaccines for SARS-CoV-2. In addition, he is a Deputy Editor at New England Journal of Medicine and Chair of the Antimicrobial Drug Advisory Committee (AMDAC) for the US FDA.
